This Privacy Policy explains how Fair-Repairs Platform LLC ("Fair-Repairs," "we," "us") handles information on the Fair-Repairs website and apps.
We collect the account details you provide (name, email, phone), the repair jobs and bids you post, and payment information processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers — those are handled entirely by Stripe.
We use your information to operate the marketplace: matching Customers with Shops, processing payments and payouts, and providing support. We share the minimum necessary information between a Customer and a Shop to complete a job.
We do not use third-party advertising pixels or trackers, and we do not sell your information. If you arrive through one of our ads or links, we save a short source label (for example, the name of the ad) in your browser and, if you sign up, on your account, so we can count how many people each ad brings in. The label contains no personal information.
We use Clerk for authentication and Stripe for payments. Your data is subject to their respective privacy policies when handled by them.
You can request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing support@fair-repairs.com.
After you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days. The exception is records we need to keep for legal, tax, payment-processing and dispute reasons, such as payment, refund and dispute records and your acknowledgment of any diagnostic fee. We keep those records for up to 7 years, and only as long as needed for those purposes.
